Invasive Species Control

Non Native species threaten our wildlife habitats, eco systems and can have a devastating effect on native flora and fauna.

There are 1,402 non-native plants established in the wild in Great Britain, of which 108 (8%) are stated to have a negative impact.

Non native invasive species can wreck havoc with ecosystems, cause building damage and can stop you from getting a mortgage.

Japanese Knotweed , Common Ragwort, Himalayan Balsam and Giant Hogweed are among the more notable invasive species, but there are a further 56 species that are now controlled under the section 9 of the Wildlife and Country side act 1981.

Wildscape, can provide survey reports, create a management plan and provide *effective eradication service.

* Wildscape has a no chemical policy for weed control, but we understand that sometimes chemical eradication can be the only way to control aggressive invasive species like these. Therefore we will use the necessary chemical application to control these plants.
